De la extracción fluvial a la planta. Nuestro proceso comienza en el río. Mediante buques areneros extraemos la arena silícea directamente de los depósitos del Paraná, aprovechando la vía navegable como el primer y más eficiente medio de transporte. La extracción fluvial no solo nos da acceso a una materia prima de excelente redondez natural, sino que reduce la huella logística desde el origen, moviendo grandes volúmenes por agua antes de tocar tierra.
Clasificación y secado. Una vez en planta, la arena atraviesa las etapas que definen su calidad final: lavado para eliminar finos e impurezas, clasificación granulométrica para separar cada producto según su especificación, y secado hasta alcanzar los niveles de humedad que cada aplicación requiere —desde el propante para fractura hasta la sílice de alta pureza para vidrio. Cada etapa se acompaña de controles que garantizan que el material responda, lote a lote, a la misma especificación.
Carga y logística terrestre. Con el producto clasificado, seco y certificado, coordinamos la carga de camiones y el despacho hacia el destino final. Integramos distintos modos de transporte —ferrocarril para los grandes volúmenes de larga distancia y camiones para la entrega puerta a planta— con el fin de asegurar un abastecimiento confiable, previsible y a tiempo, incluso a las operaciones más exigentes de Vaca Muerta.
Este control de toda la cadena, del río al cliente, es lo que nos permite garantizar no solo la calidad del producto, sino también la certeza de la entrega.
Processing and logistics
From river extraction to the plant. Our process begins on the river. Using sand dredgers, we extract silica sand directly from the deposits of the Paraná, making the most of the waterway as the first and most efficient means of transport. River-based extraction not only gives us access to a raw material of excellent natural roundness, it also reduces the logistics footprint right from the source, moving large volumes by water before the sand ever reaches land.
Classification and drying. Once at the plant, the sand goes through the stages that define its final quality: washing to remove fines and impurities, grain-size classification to separate each product according to its specification, and drying to reach the moisture levels each application requires —from fracturing proppant to high-purity glass sand. Every stage is backed by controls that ensure the material meets the same specification, batch after batch.
Loading and land logistics. With the product classified, dried, and certified, we coordinate truck loading and dispatch to the final destination. We combine different modes of transport —rail for large, long-distance volumes and trucks for door-to-plant delivery— to ensure a reliable, predictable, and on-time supply, even to the most demanding operations in Vaca Muerta.
This control over the entire chain, from the river to the client, is what allows us to guarantee not only product quality, but also delivery you can count on.
